Works perfectly, cleaned the area i was sticking the velcro to prior and its holding up well even with some windy conditions
- AnonymousVerified Buyer2 months agoRated 1 out of 5 starsomg do not buy this
omg do not buy this. An absolute faff!! I have spent countless hours reattaching Velcro... the kit is too small to extend to the length of one of the sliding doors... so I tried to gather the fabric (like in the diagram) - this is not possible with this fabric by the way. then when I switch it on,.the excess fabric was billowing out everywhere full of hot air in the room.... so I removed, and stretched it out, and had to attach one side to the glass and one side to door frame. it's flimsy and heat easily travels through, and the weight of the hose kept causing it to break the seal with both layers of Velcro coming off in lots of places !! but also, with this much fabric and expecting to hold the weight of the nose well is poor design. it would be better to have less fabric and the option to place the zipper and Velcro where you need for your door frame. I'd return this but there is also a fee! so better to avoid. plastic panels with seals are available on Amazon. they also provide a cover for the vent to stop bugs/leaves getting in. considering the ac unit cost near £600 this was very disappointing and frustrating to deal with in 35c weather
- AnonymousVerified Buyer3 months agoRated 1 out of 5 starsWaste of money
Flimsy, allows hot air in and Velcro attached to frame comes unstuck easily. Waste or money. Will be either ordering a third part plastic/perspex option or making my own.
- Anonymous1 year agoRated 2 out of 5 starsLooks nothing like the illustration…
Looks nothing like the illustration which shows a zig zag folding to fit cover. This is just a rectangle of plastic sheet like with the flexible window kit that unless you have a door that’s exactly the full size of the sheet you have no Velcro to fasten properly, this also means the door has to be fully open, so unless you’re constantly going in and out to make use of the zip you’d be better off using the flexible window kit or the standard window kit which sadly would be perfect if it was just 20cm longer.
Meaco (U.K.) Limited1 year agoThanks for the feedback. The seal does the job as intended, regardless of folding style — whether zig-zag or flat, it's still an industry-standard solution but we appreciate your feedback on the image. The measurements are listed on the product page and designed to suit most door sizes, with any excess being a normal and expected part of fitting. We appreciate your comments either way.
