Not sure which humidifier filter or pad fits your model? Not sure which filter or pad you need?

Meaco humidifier filters and add-ons

A little regular care helps your Meaco humidifier running optimally and keeps your home environment feeling more comfortable.

Evaporation pads help support the humidification process by allowing water to evaporate naturally as air passes through the appliance. Replacing them when needed helps maintain effective performance and supports consistent humidity output.

Armin® evaporation pads retain minerals as water evaporates, helping prevent white dust settling on nearby surfaces. Mineral and limescale deposits can build up on the pads over time, especially in hard water areas, so follow the care and replacement guidance to keep your humidifier working effectively.

Finding the right humidifier filter
or evaporation pad

The right replacement part depends on the humidifier model you own. There are two types of humidifier: Ultrasonic and Evaporative; and therefore, there are two types of spares you may need to look for.

Before ordering, check your product name, model number and existing part so you can choose the correct compatible replacement. For Armin®, choose the evaporation pads sized for your model. For the Deluxe 202, check whether you need the calcium carbonate water filter or the separate HEPA/charcoal filter.

Why replace your humidifier filter or pad?

A fresh humidifier filter or evaporation pad helps your appliance perform as intended. If a pad becomes clogged, worn or heavily marked by mineral build-up, it may reduce how effectively the humidifier can add moisture to the air.

Replacing the correct part also helps extend the useful life of your appliance. Instead of replacing the whole humidifier, you can refresh the pad, filter or add-on your model needs.

Get answers to all your humidifier filter and add-on questions.

Which humidifier filter do I need?

Check the model name and product range of your humidifier before choosing a replacement filter or pad. Meaco Armin® models use compatible evaporation pads, while other humidifiers may require different parts. Each product page will explain compatible products and best use.

Are humidifier filters and evaporation pads the same thing?

Not always. Some humidifiers use filters, while evaporative humidifiers often use evaporation pads to support natural humidification. Always check the part required for your specific model before ordering.

What is an evaporation pad used for?

For evaporative models, an evaporation pad helps water evaporate naturally as air passes through the humidifier. It is an important replacement part for compatible evaporative humidifiers, including Meaco Armin® models.

How often should I replace humidifier filters or pads?

Replacement frequency depends on your model, how often you use the humidifier and the hardness of your water. Check your product instructions and replace the pad or filter when recommended, or sooner if it looks worn, clogged or heavily marked.

Can I wash a humidifier filter or evaporation pad?

We would recommend replacing, not washing your filters. Often it is the limescale from the home water itself, which causes them to become dirty. Some components from ultrasonic models may be rinsed or cleaned as part of regular maintenance, but many filters and pads are designed to be replaced when they become worn or clogged.

Do I need a water filter for my humidifier?

It depends on your model and water type at home. Armin® can be filled straight from the tap and uses evaporation pads without a separate water-softening filter., even in hard water areas. The Deluxe 202 uses a calcium carbonate water filter attached to its tank cap to help tackle limescale. As an ultrasonic model, the 202 may be more vulnerable to hardwater.
