Designed to keep your home and office cool during the hottest months of the year, our air conditioners are designed to be fully portable so that you can use them anywhere in your home or office.
The air conditioners draw the warm, humid air from your room over a cold surface, which cools and dries the air simultaneously. The cold air is blown out of the front of the portable air conditioner whilst the warm, humid air is expelled from the space via a exhaust duct.
Removing that hot, humid air from your room reduces the relative humidity, which means you have less of the sticky feeling that makes it hard to feel cool and comfortable.
Fitting in with your life
Our larger air conditioners give you much more cooling in practice, with no more noise than a smaller unit. This makes them perfect for larger rooms, or areas with more people living or working in them.
The big advantage of the MeacoCool range is its smaller, lighter and a more compact size. This means you can easily put it in rooms of all sizes, and to move it from space to space.
The remote control allows you to change the settings without having to get up to the unit, while a window kit makes the cooling more efficient.
The sleep mode keeps the unit in low fan speed to ensure the lowest possible noise level, and you can combine this with the Off Timer so that the unit turns off at a set time, ensuring that you do not wake up cold during the night.
To get the best out of your air conditioner we recommend pre-cooling your rooms – particularly bedrooms – before you need to use them. This means that your room is the right temperature, making it easier to work, sleep and live.
Window kit options
All our units come with a 1.8m duct, this is suitable for most applications however if you need a longer duct, a 2m one can be purchased here (ducts cannot be extended past 2m due to overheating). The duct is used for the cooling function, where you’ll need to put the duct through a window in order to expel the excess hot air and keep your room cool. It also prevents warm air from outside coming into your home and disturbing the unit’s operation.
The MeacoCool comes with two types of window kits: the standard window kit and the flexible window kit. The standard window kit is suitable for sash windows, whereas the flexible window kit is suitable for all types of windows.
The window kit included measures at 170cm and therefore if you're trying to cover a sliding door, there will be a small gap at the top. Alternatively, you can purchase a flexible door window kit here.
All Meaco products come with a two-year parts and labour warranty, as well as the option of extending the warranty to a total of five years.
A return charge of £50 will be deducted from refunds on all non-faulty air conditioner returns within 14 days of delivery.
