Export is very important to us as a company and we are committed to growth as a company through our overseas markets. As a continuation of that plan and to support our resellers in Germany we will be at the huge Chillventa 2012 trade fair in Nuremberg between the 9 – 11 October. You find us in hall 7 on stand 529.
Chillventa is a very important show for dehumidifier manufacturers that takes place every two years. Our presence at the show confirms the rapid rise that we have undergone over the past 4 years and our place as a major player in the European domestic dehumidifier market.
We will be using the show to launch two new Meaco dehumidifiers at opposite ends of the dehumidifier spectrum. They are our smallest and largest dehumidifiers ever.
The Meaco Mini-D is a small rechargeable dehumidifier designed to keep small spaces like
wardrobes, cupboards and storage boxes dry. There are thousands of potentials applications both in the home and in caravans, boats, motorhomes (RVs), museums, offices and the military (gunsafes).
The majority of sales are expected to be to householders with built in wardrobes on outside walls, a common situation that leads to musty smelling clothes and in the worst cases mould on anything that is touching the outside wall. At £17.99 the Mini-D will pay for itself many times over saving many pairs of shoes and dresses.
The beauty of the Mini-D is that it is a clean safe product that can be used around children and animals without fear of spillage or the desiccant being consumed.
Once the Mini-D has absorbed as much moisture as it can the orange to green indicator changes colour and the mini dehumidifier can be recharged via the mains just like a mobile phone.
The second product that will be launched at Chillventa is our largest dehumidifier the new Meaco 70Lm. This is a building dryer capable of extracting 70 litres of water per day designed for the commercial market; many units will be used by builders and the hire industry for drying out rooms either during construction or after flooding.
The 70Lm has been carefully designed based on customer feedback and features flush wheels and drop down handles to save storage space, a 3.5m pump to remove the water, hot gas defrost for improve performance below 15°C, hour counter, digital display and variable humidistat.
Of course the Meaco 70Lm has been designed robustly to withstand the harsh treatment that it can expect to receive on site.
As well as the building sites we expect many 70Lm’s to be used in commercial storage applications whether for museums, car storage, product warehousing or paper archives.
The Meaco 70Lm will be available in the UK from the end of September and the mini rechargeable will be available from the middle of October.
