I'm not sure which one of you helped me out with this (I think it may have been Peter but not sure), but I just wanted to send an email to say thank you.

Its exceedingly rare in this day and age to find either a) a company, or b) a representative of that company who is willing to go the extra mile for a customer to protect the brand and demonstrate a superior level of customer service. I would even go so far as to identify this as unique.

We received appalling service from Amazon, in connection with this matter, which only served to highlight the exemplary customer service provided by Meaco and yourself.

The replacement unit works like a dream and I remain supremely impressed by this.

Many thanks Chris, the dehumidifier arrived on Friday as promised in spite of the deep snow and sub-zero temperatures. I allowed the machine to sit for 24 hours before running and so this morning, Saturday, was the first opportunity I had to try it. As a test, it dried the washing quite quickly and quietly.

I will submit a report after I have used the dehumidifier for a few weeks, performing its primary function of reducing the humidity throughout the house.

I ordered a Prem-i-Air dehumidifier from yourselves which was delivered a day late, through no fault of your own, due to problems with your courier which meant I incurred some parking charges as I had to drive into work the next day too.

You refunded me £10 as compensation quickly.

Just a line to thank your staff for being so helpful when I first enquired about the suitability of a de humidifier for my home and also when there was a problem firstly with the delivery (not your fault it was the couriers fault) and then secondly when the unit arrived and was faulty.

I am extremely pleased to tell you that the replacement unit (which arrived within 48 hours) is fully operational and is a great success , taking in about half a tank of water per day. We no longer have any condensation on the new windows and the second bathroom which is fully tiled now has dry walls rather than perpetually damp walls. The washing which we dry indoors at this time of year actually dries in half the time that it did before.

So once again many thanks for all your advice and help.

Dear Chris,
The dehumidifier was installed in my boat, which is under a tarpaulin on a trailer in a field next to my home, some weeks ago. I opted to remove the boat plug and use the units constant drain facility and although the unit is economical to run with its own thermostat, I connected it via an electrical timer, two hours on, two off. After some very cold, damp and rainy conditions of late the whole inside of the boat, furnishings, steering gear, inboard engine, electrical circuit etc. is bone dry and free from musty smells. I would like to thank you for supplying a truly effective product, that in my view, will pay for itself many times over in both reduced maintenance costs and preparation time for the coming boating season.
