1.
All prices are clearly stated throughout the site, we will monitor and adjust
prices regularly to ensure that we always offer the best possible value for
money. We therefore reserve the right to change any advertised price before you
place an order.
2. All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at
any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative
or given a full refund.
3. Delivery is either free or, for heavier items like swimming pool dehumidifiers,
added at the check out prior to you completing your purchase. The site can
only deal with orders for mainland UK as deliveries over water attract a
surcharge from the carriers. For deliveries over water please contact the
office on freecall 0500 418458.
5. Payment can be made by any major credit or debit card listed at the bottom of
each screen using the internationally recognised and supported SecPay
secure payment system. Payment will be debited from your account when you order,
i.e. before the despatch of your purchase. We will take all reasonable care, in
so far as it is within our power to do so, to keep the details of your order
secure but, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable
for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any
data you provide when accessing or ordering from our site.
6. In the unlikely event that your product is lost or damaged in transit please
contact us in writing. In the case of damaged goods please retain the product
plus all of its packaging and contact us within 48 hours of receipt. All
products are sent by secure
courier (normally TNT or APC) so we can therefore track your delivery quickly
should there be a problem.
DATA PROTECTION
We request your name, address and telephone number to enable us to provide you with an efficient
after-sales service but we WILL NOT pass your name and address to ANY third
parties.
PRIVACY POLICY
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information
that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order
and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:
* your name
* address
* phone number
* email address
* credit/debit card details - these details are not retained.
We
will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit
consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the
information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies
we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with
our internal security policy and the law .
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our
site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your
browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The
information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify
your browser settings.

RETURNS & REFUNDS
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within
10 days of the despatch date with your receipt, providing it is still in a new,
resaleable condition. There is a 20% re-stocking charge for goods returned
after this time but still in a new condition. We never refund delivery charges.
All returns must be in a re-saleable condition and returned at the users expense.
These conditions override the normal distance and ecommerce selling regulations
because of the seasonal nature of our products. In addition to this we
have separate terms for air conditioners and air coolers
Air Conditioners and Air Coolers.
Unfortunately in the past customers have tried to buy portable air conditioners and then used the sale of goods act and in particular the distance selling regulations, to return the goods once the weather has cooled. Under the regulations you would be entitled to buy an air conditioner on the internet, use it during the hot weather and then return it to the manufacturer for a refund, no questions asked. This is obviously unfair on the supplier and in buying from ourselves, you agree to waving the right of return that the distance selling regulations and other UK/EU law provides.
For our air conditioners we will only allow refunds if;
* The goods are found to be damaged in transit and
signed for damaged upon receipt.
*The goods are show no signs of life when plugged in upon receipt and you inform
us with 24 hours.
If an air conditioner develops a fault within the first year we will uplift at
our expense and repair or replace as the manufacturer sees fit and then return
the goods to you. It is important that you retain the original packaging
in case of any need to return the goods. Customers must accept that if
goods are being returned to ourselves or the manufacturer via courier and then
returned back to them again that the goods will not necessarily look 100% brand
new upon return as they will have been on two extra journeys.
Heating Products
Please select your radiators very carefully because if
you have ordered the wrong one we have to charge for both the collection of the
radiator and a 20% fee for restocking the radiator even if you come back to us
immediately after delivery.

All products are supported by Meaco's and the manufacturer's guarantee which only includes
uplift from customers on mainland UK,.
