For this exercise we are presuming that the garage is unheated. If the temperature is likely to fall below 10°C then you need a dehumidifier that can cope with this lower temperature. This is because ice will form on the coils and a normal dehumidifier will not perform at these temperatures.

Both the Mitsubishi Electric range and the X-Dry are specially adapted for use at low temperature. If you want something a bit tougher then have a look at the Nader Yard Building Dryers which are constructed of metal and use hot gas defrost.

All models can have a hose fitted for continuous drainage if required.
