A smart ladder style towel rail that can be fitted to a fused spur in a bathroom. The rail is filled with oil so once up to temperature the electric will turn off and the rail will stay warm and you get 'free' heat until the thermostat demands more electric to be used.

At the bottom right of the rail there is a thermostat to ensure that the rail provides just the right amount of warmth to the towels and the room. An electric towel rail is in many ways a better idea than one connected to the central heating system because it means that you can have warm towels in the summer as well as the winter without having to have the central heating on in the summer.
