her training and preparations.

We were therefore delighted to see that Rachel is coming back to form and fitness as she won both the qualifying heat and the final at the recent National Championships Olympic Selection races.  These victories should mean that her spot in Team GB for Rio is now secure.

Rachel is an inspiration to the young swimmers at Wey Valley Swimming Club and an excellent example of what can be achieved if you set your mind to it.  She always comes back to the club to help with awards and to interact with the young swimmers and we are grateful for her time and support.

Fingers crossed she stays injury free for the rest of the summer and we look forward to cheering her on in Rio.
